Terms of Service

Magicost ("the service") is a planning tool for Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members. It helps you estimate the points and dollar cost of a stay based on published point charts, your inputs, and current ticket prices. Magicost is operated by Fathom Dev ("we", "us") and is unaffiliated with The Walt Disney Company or Disney Vacation Club.

Magicost provides estimates based on publicly available point charts and user-supplied prices. It does not check availability, reserve rooms, sell tickets, or guarantee accuracy. Verify all costs with Disney Vacation Club and the relevant booking systems before making any financial decision.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Magicost. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably suspect of abuse.

Magic is an optional paid subscription, billed via Stripe at the price shown on the pricing page at time of purchase. You can cancel anytime through the Stripe Customer Portal accessible from your account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled case-by-case — contact us if you believe you were charged in error.

Don't scrape, reverse-engineer, resell, or use Magicost to harm others or break the law. Don't upload content that infringes anyone's rights. We may rate-limit or block use that degrades the service for others.

Saved trips, contracts, and preferences you enter are yours. You grant us a limited license to store and process them in order to run the service. You can delete saved trips and contracts anytime from inside the app; full account deletion is available by emailing us.

Disney Vacation Club point charts are © Disney Vacation Club. We use them under fair use for a non-commercial planning aid. The Magicost name, logo, code, and original copy are © Fathom Dev. The MIT-licensed bits in our codebase remain MIT.

Magicost is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Calculations may be wrong, the service may be unavailable, and Disney can change point charts or pricing at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of Magicost is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50 if you haven't paid anything. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

We may update these terms over time. If we make material changes we'll notify you by email or in-app banner. Continued use after the change means you accept the new terms.
